Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect on marketinghackers.lv, why we process it, and how you can exercise your rights.
§ 01Controller
The data controller is Digital Publisher SIA, registration number 40203053040, registered address Lāčplēša iela 87 - 403, Rīga, LV-1011, Latvija, trading as Marketing Hackers.

§ 02What we collect
Data you submit voluntarily through the enquiry form or newsletter signup:
- name and email address (required),
- website, approximate monthly budget, goal and a free-text description (optional).
Technical data generated by your browser: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and approximate location. This is collected by analytics tools only if you have given cookie consent.
We do not collect special category data and we do not carry out automated decision-making with legal effects.
§ 03Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry and preparing a proposal — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Improving the site and its content through analytics — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Marketing communication and newsletters — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Accounting and statutory obligations — legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
§ 04Who receives the data
We do not sell personal data. It is processed only by our staff and by the following processors, each under a data processing agreement:
- Vercel Inc. — site hosting and server logs,
- Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery network and security,
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivery of enquiry and confirmation emails,
- Google Ireland Limited — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (consent only).
Some processors are located outside the EEA. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
§ 05Retention
- Enquiry data — 24 months after the last contact if no engagement follows.
- Client contract and accounting records — 5 years, as required by Latvian law.
- Newsletter subscriber data — until consent is withdrawn.
- Analytics data — up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
§ 06Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- rectify inaccurate data,
- request erasure or restriction of processing,
- object to processing based on legitimate interests,
- receive your data in a portable format,
- withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We respond within one month.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, [email protected]).
§ 07Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you consent. A detailed list is available in the cookie policy.

We may update this policy. For material changes we publish the new version on this page and update the date shown at the top.
